For Weiss & Company LLP, company marketing had always been hampered by the unfortunate perception that all accounting firms are pretty much the same – even one that’s been a dominant player in the Chicago market for over 50 years. Our job: Identify exactly what makes Weiss exceptional and build their brand messaging around their strengths.
SOLUTION
After working on-site at Weiss and conducting a series of interviews with a cross-section of staff members, it became clear the company’s point of difference was its people. Youthful, diverse, honestly interesting and, above all, exceptionally competent – Weiss’s professional staff provided a refreshingly different focal point for our ongoing brand-building efforts, including email campaigns, digital and print advertising, social media and much more.
OUTCOME
The impact of our work for Weiss was both immediate and lasting. Since launching their new website in the summer of 2020, engagement is up more than 30% year over year. Especially noteworthy is the new “News & Views” blog section, which works synergistically with email and social media efforts to open the door to new customers and followers.
